Shortly after Friday's mindblowing interview with Prefuse 73/Scott Herren about his new album leaking to filesharing, Herren posted the following retraction:

Feb. 18, 2005 Ok people, it's time to for me stop bitching, explaining, running my mouth and show all of you love...i'm not going to hide behind a blanket of ego while you're filling out venues while you can stay home and have sex with your lover, listen to dungen, listen to whoever, draw, paint, get faded, write a book, pray to the gods or whatever you do. this is for all of you worldwide. if i can't make it to your city to play and you want to see me play, i will play... these things get complicated but i assure you i will fulfill whatever i can possibly do in time. I'm lucky enough to see a crowd of people when i play from nerds with beards in the corner scratching their chins(nothing wrong with that, do your thing thing) to people getting crunk in the front going apeshit.... i recognize and appreciate all that shit. i appreciate the patience from journalists due to the magnitude of my answers in interviews and my frustrations towards photographers just doing their job.... that's my bad-i hate photos!! I appreciate the attention whether it's good or bad...
